There are TWO EVENTS going on here!
The cost is $5 TOTAL per person to play (covers both even if you only choose to play in one).
In this case, our host has instructed me to put the extra money into PRIZES and GIVEAWAYS! (more about this later!)
I will not turn anyone away due to cost. If you can not/will not pay, I will cover you - come be a part of the pinball community!
Event 1
--- DFW Pinball League Fall1 Event -
The first of 3 events on this league. See the separate league page on the IFPA calendar for details.
Event 2
--- IFPA Registered Tournament (THIS TOURNAMENT)
Doors open and registration starts at 11:00 AM.
Tourney starts as close to NOON as possible.
Late entrants are welcomed until sometime around 2:30 PM (halfway through qualifying).
Qualifying Rounds are Group Match Play
Finals TBD -- but we usually do (1) Group Match Play Elimination.
When needed we have shifted to: (2) 2 Strikes, or (3) Best of 2 of 3 Single Elimination Brackets.
THERE WILL BE PLAYOFFS FOR BOTH A AND B DIVISIONS SO ALL SKILL LEVELS CAN PLAY AND WIN!
"A" finals affects standings
Per IPFA rule, "B" does not - its for fun...
That said, we have PRIZES:
Gift Cards and T-Shirts for both divisions AND random drawings for everyone as well. . . So ANYONE present can win!!
As always, All skill levels welcome!! It's about having fun, eating, socializing, and playing pinball!! We had players as young as 3 years old & as old as 81 in our leagues. All we ask is that you respect each other, the host's home, and the machines! So, come Join us!
FOOD: Brandon says, "We will have snacks and appetizers, water, soft drinks and a keg... if you want to bring something else, feel free."
PARKING: Park next to the wrought iron fence - there will be balloons attached. There's plenty of parking. Its my home address but its zoned commercial and is on a huge lot.
HEALTH & SAFETY:
Masks/gloves are not required. We intend to have hand sanitizer available.
No smoking is allowed inside. Wear a mask if you want (optional). Play at your own risk.
OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:
There may be a separate KIDS finals for players under the age of 18. This depends on Lynn Lyons, who put this together last time. If he is doing this again, He'll post in the discussion.
