Tournament Overview

Start Date: August 26, 2016
End Date: August 27, 2016

Qualifying Dates and Times: August 26th (7:00 PM - 12:00 AM) and August 27th (9:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

Finals August 27th 2:30PM-Finish

Cost: $15 Tournament Fee 100% to prizes and coindrop

Qualifying Format:
Each player will play 8 games (out of 10) one time. Games will be set for 3 balls (or 5 balls) and no extra balls where possible. If extra balls are on - play them. Scores will be based on .95 scoring (from 100) i.e. 100, 95, 90, 86, 81, 77, 74, 70, 66, 63, etc. (The value is rounded up for point totals but not for the multiplier). 8 games are used in a player's total score. Every player has 1 wild card which they can play after completing their 8th qualifying game, if they so choose. Upon playing their wildcard, a player will choose a game to eliminate from their total and it will be immediately removed from their total. The wild card game must be played on the eliminated game or one of the other 2 games not already played. The wild card score will be included in their total (even if it is worth less than their eliminated game).

At the end of the qualifying period, the top 40% of entrants will move into the A finals, while everyone else (ranked below IFPA 500) will move into B finals. The prize pool will be split 60A/40B and play the top 4 finishers in each division 40/30/20/10.

Finals format will be Best of 3 Double Elimination with first pick going to the higher seed and loser after that.
