You are cordially invited to the 2nd Annual Wedgehead Open Matchup Tournament Challenge. There will be medals, t-shirts, good food, and if its anything like last year, a fantastic time.
This is going to be quite a long day, but will be worth it, in fun and in points, as this will be IFPA endorsed.
Wedgehead will open its doors at 10 am (we'll have coffee readily available for you nightwalkers), with check-in beginning promptly after. Practice on the machines is allowed during this time. Everyone must be checked in and ready to play no later than 11am. THERE WILL BE NO LATE ARRIVALS.
Format:
8 rounds of match play. You will be placed in a group of 4 players and assigned a machine, player order listed on matchplay.events. Scoring TBD.
After 8 rounds, the top 8-16 (depending on attendance) will advance to a multi matchplay format on 2-4 different banks of 4 machines. Scoring TBD. All finals will be matched by folded seed based on your seeding at the entry of finals. Top seed in each group will be able to choose the bank or position played throughout the finals, again, based on original seed going into finals.
All meaningful tiebreakers will be decided on a 1 game match, or 1 ball game, at the discretion of TD.
$30 pre-registration will receive entry into tournament plus a commemorative t-shirt.
$30 day of registration, no t-shirt (extras are available for purchase)
Pre-registration may be transferable, but non refundable.
Coin drop is the responsibility of players.
