For the DFW Pinball League's ninth stop in 2025 we are visiting the home of PINBALL-ERS in Princeton, Texas.

URGENT FOOD NOTES:
While we usually do potluck and, as always Alcohol is permitted as BYOB. Everyone is still welcome to bring stuff too. However, we also want to announce the following:
THERE WILL BE A FOOD TRUCK ON SITE--
This is the same great caterer as we've had for each of the last two years!
...but NOW he has a food truck!
Food from the caterer is OPTIONAL but we need you to indicate if you want food or not AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, preferably before August 15th.
I will post this WITH A MENU in the Facebook discussion! You can comment on the discussion item to indicate your interest.

DOORS OPEN AT 11:30 AM.
REGISTRATION STARTS AT 11:30 AM.
WARMUP TIME STARTS AT 11:30 AM.
TOURNAMENT MEETING/START AT NOON.
** IF ** he is ready early, Louis may start earlier than 11:30, but this is NOT guaranteed.
*** Absolutely NO WARMUP prior to registering on the morning of the event! ***

COST:
The cost is $20 per adult - Children 16 and under play FREE!
SUMMARY:
Parking is an issue! PLEASE SEE PARKING RULES later in this post and carpool if you can!
Last year we had 50+ players at this event!
Play in as much or as little as you like.
Its a PARTY first, with a little pinball mixed in!
We TRULY want this to be about community! All skill levels welcome!! It's about having fun, eating, socializing, and playing pinball!! We had players as young as 3 years old & as old as 81 in our leagues. All we ask is that you respect each other, the host's home, and the machines! So, come Join us!

MAIN TOURNAMENT
Qualifying is "group matchplay style". This means you'll be playing in four player groups on multiple machines.
We will play as many rounds as we can in 4.5 hours (based on time the round starts).
Playoffs/Finals will LIKELY be Group Elimination/PAPA Style, which is similar to the above, but with lower performing players being eliminated as we go forward (until there's a winner). However, if we have less than 32 players, we will change finals to Amazing Race format.
THERE WILL BE PLAYOFFS FOR: A, B AND C DIVISIONS, WITH TROPHIES FOR ALL 3 DIVISIONS - SO ALL SKILL LEVELS CAN PLAY AND WIN!
The B Division is restricted so that
-- players in the top 1000 in the IFPA rankings are ineligible for B division
-- players who have placed in the TOP 3 in any of the 3 most recent DFW Pinball League events are ineligible for B division
-- The C Division is restricted to players outside of the IFPA top 2500.
-- THUS: many of the top players are excluded from the B and C Divisions so that ANYONE CAN WIN!

PARKING INFO FROM HOST:
Parking is as always limited, which is the norm for my place. Park on the edge of the road not half on and half in the grass. The more people that can car pool the better. If there is no Rain, Parking in my lawn will be permitted.
