Andy's Birthday Pace Matchplay

Tournament Format: Pace Match
7:00PM Tournament Start, Doors Open @ 5:00PM
9:30PM Projected Pace line Time
10:30PM Projected End Time (estimate 4 hours)

Pace match play is a bit like running a race. You’re playing your matches, accumulating points along the way, but there’s a minimum amount of progress you need to make to stay in the race. Players who fail to make the required progress are eliminated.

Everyone will play as many 4-player matches, accumulating points (7/5/3/1) as long as the round starts before 9:30PM.

After that, a line will be drawn at ~50% of players. That line will move up by 7 points every round. Anyone below the line is out. Last player standing wins.

Rounds will be randomly assigned 4-player games within the rotating predetermined banks. (Modern, Mid, Classic)

Tie Breaker for top 4 (Meaning multiple players were below the line, and had the same amount of points) will be a randomly assigned game, from the upcoming bank.
