Catskill Classic Pinball Presents: Drop Target Derby!! An IFPA sanctioned match play pinball tournament using only Drop Targets for scoring!!
A Drop Target is a flat mechanical target that is held up on a small ledge and when hit with a ball, is moved backwards and dropped down via a small spring. There are generally switches for both the Up and Down positions but just a single Down switch will work.
Entry fee: $15 including $1 IFPA Sanction Fee and $4 Hosting Fee. Soft Drinks will be provided. Top 8 cash 35/20/15/10/5/5/5/5% Trophy for Grand Champion. Minimum of 16 players required for IFPA certification.
Doors open 12 noon. Qualifying round begins 2pm sharp!! No pre-registration required. Just show up and sign in by 1:45pm. However – keep in mind this is a PRIVATE location and host reserves ALL rights. ALL first time players and guests MUST be approved by host IN ADVANCE. Qualifying round: Max Match Play – Head to Head matches, with all players playing the same amount of matches. Number of matches depends on amount of players. Top 8 in standings make PAPA style finals (3 game match play groups of 4 players, top 2 in each group advance to final 4). Tiebreakers required for final round seeding.
