Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: November 24, 2025
The L.A.B. is hosting its final Pinball League of 2025. We play every Monday Night at 7 pm for 8 weeks, and then we have a final tournament on the following Saturday after the end of qualifying 8 weeks. Because we are squeezing this bad boy in at the end of the calendar year, our finals will be on the the weekend between Christmas and New Years on the 27th of December (a Saturday). All players will make finals, either A or B or C finals. So please please please, show up to finals, because if you don't, the grinch keeps your prize money and Cindy Lou Hoo doesn't get her Christmas Tree back. Beginners are welcome - Lots of players from different skill groups participate and have a blast. Week 1 of League is the 3rd of November at 7 PM at the L.A.B. Week 8 is December 22nd and Finals are the 27th as mentioned which is the only SATURDAY we will play.
The format is group matchplay for qualifying. Players will be in a group of 3 or 4 players (primarily 4 player groups) and play 6 games a week scoring 4,3,2,1. There are bonus points used for qualifying seeding only and players can drop their lowest 2 weeks for vacation or illness or you don't feed like coming that week. Players will be swissed weekly so if you do better, you'll play against harder opposition and if you struggle for a week, you'll play against people who generally also struggled. Drops will be taken through so you don't have to wait until the last week to get rid of bad scores. Top 12 generally make A finals with the next 12 making B and remaining making C finals. Number of finalists and divisions depends on who plays in the league.
Buy in is $120 for league and players have the option of purchasing a SEASON PASS to the LAB for $100 additional dollars making everything in the LAB free to play for the 2 months of league. Pretty killer deal if you ask me but SEASON PASSES are not required to participate.
