Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: November 25, 2025

Tuesday, November 25th at 7pm

In an effort to grow the event into something larger this year(Elgin PADS has been struggling and will be unable to hold their annual Winter Gala fundraiser this year) we will be catering a full buffet for the event and charging more for entry. Tourney entry will be $25 and 100% of entry fees will go towards Elgin PADS after the cost of the buffet is covered. If you wish to come support the charity and not play in the tourney you can buy a wristband onsite for $20 to get access to the buffet. I will be sponsoring the IFPA fees for this event. I willl also be purchasing plaques for the top 4 finishers.

Ruth and I volunteer every month at the Elgin PADS homeless shelter. We cook and serve a meal for about 30-40 people. Ruth had the idea to create a charity tourney in 2022 that we do annually each year. In the last three years of running the event we have raised over $10,000 for Elgin PADS! This will be a standard 4 round matchplay qualifier tourney with a top 16 single game elimination playoffs. In the playoffs high seed will get choice of game or order. Players cannot choose a game more than once in the playoffs, and cannot queue for a game. Top 4 finishers will receive plaques.

Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 each and you can buy as many as you want. We may also have charity auctions for larger items. Raffle tickets will be the only way to win all of the raffle prizes we'll be drawing for all night. You can also win more than once! We'll be raffling off various merchandise from pinball manufacturers including shirts, hats, translites, banners, playfields, and more! We will also be raffling off prizes from local northwest suburb businesses. We are also happy to accept direct donations of cash or items from the Elgin PADS wishlist, available here:

Lastly if you are interested in donating some prizes to the raffle please let us know, the more stuff we can get the better in order to raise money to support a great place that supports our local community!
