Overall

Each league night we will play 7 rounds each on a different machine in groups of 4 or 3.
Groups will be based on attendance.
Points will be given as follows for each game: 7 pts. for 1st, 5 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd and 1 for 4th (or 7,4,1 for a 3 person group).
A total of 49 points would be the maximum a player could achieve in a single night.
First round matches and games will be randomly drawn with the lowest ranked player choosing the order of play.
Order of play will be determined by the Match Play Software.
Subsequent round matches will be determined by overall total points- Swiss style.
Total up the points per league night for the season and that is your rank.
League points will be added together for each of the 6 months for year end prizes.
We will drop the 2 lowest score of the 6 tournaments in a series, so the highest 4 of the 6 scores will count in each series for the year.
Total points possible for one series 49 + 49 + 49 + 49 = 196

PLAYOFF FORMAT:
A DIVISION:
After the final session in June and December the top 12 (Top 4 players will have a bye) in league will battle for the Traveling Foxcitiespinball Belt and Final Rankings in IFPA will be determined by your finish in the 12 Person Tournament by finish.
Anyone not present for the playoffs will not be included in the playoff format and will receive an 12th place finish.
If there is a tie for 12th Place then we will have a 1 game playoff to determine the 12th seed. Game and player position will be determined in a tiebreaker by random number generator.
If there is a tie for any other seed it will be determined by the points on the final session with the highest point total for the night receiving the higher seed. If there is a tie we will go to the previous night and so on.
Seeding for playoffs will be based on league session finish 1st-12th place in the series with the top 4 players receiving a bye.
3 games in each round.
Player with the highest seed in each group of 4 will have game choice on all 3 games or they can defer and choose playing position. The player with the next highest seed then gets choice of position, etc.
Scoring 7-5-3-1 scoring. Total possible points 21 for a round by a player.
The 2 players with the highest score will move on to the next round in each match.
Should there be a tie to determine who will move on, A one game tiebreaker game will be played to determine the winner. Highest seed getting pick of game or position.
The final 4 will also play a 3 game playoff finals to determine 1,2,3,4.
If there is a tie for first then there will be a one game tiebreaker to determine the winner.
B DIVISION:
B Division we will take places 13th-last place in the series.
You can not participate in playoffs if you have not played in at least 3 of the nights. So if you missed 4 or more nights out of the 6 you are ineligible for playoffs.
2 games in each round.
