The format for this tournament at Amusement Worx is Max Matchplay.


Registration and warm-up starts at 5.45 and the comp itself starts at 6.35. DATE Wednesday February 18th.

INFORMATION.

1. Tournament name:

Amusement Worx SA Pinball Nationals Max Matchplay Tournament Wednesday 18th February 2026.

2. Tournament director: Simon Wisbey. 3. Email: simon.w@amusementworx.com.au 4. Location: Amusement Worx, 285-287 Torrens Road West Croydon 5008 SA. 5. Registration and warm up 5.45-6.30 sharp. 6. Information and questions from players 6.30-6.35. 7. Tournament start: 6.35. 8. Format is Max Matchplay using next.matchplay.events. 9. This format is a cross between flip frenzy and round robin.

10. The aim will be for each player to play 22 matches. Depending on how long the tournament is running on the night, this may be varied. 11. If there are more than 20 players, each player should play 20 different opponents.

12. Arena draws will be balanced.

13. Players will be awarded 1 point for a win; the overall winner being the player with the most points after everyone has played 22 matches.

14. Play order for each match will be balanced.

15. Tiebreaker will be automatic – ties will be broken by comparing the strengths of opponents faced. 16. Entry fee: $26 (includes the $1 IFPA fee).

17. Event: Main. 18. Estimated # of players: 32. 19. Meaningful # of games played/tgp: 22 for 88%. 20. Unlimited qualifying: No.
