Tournament Overview

The "Playcenter Pinball Challenge" event will be structured on the days of November Friday the 6th and Saturday, the 7th, 2015 and will award points for the world ranking WPPR.
A first stage of qualifications will be held, during which all the players compete on Friday and Saturday playing on 6 different pinball machines. The top 12 classified will enter to the final stage on the basis of the scores obtained.
The awards show will take place on Saturday the 7th at the end of the tournament and will be a trophy for the first 3 players classified.
The tournament will be developed in two phases:
? Qualifications:
Each player will have the opportunity to play two games for each of the 6 pinball machines during the qualifications to be consecutively played, the two scores will be added and will help to define the final classification. The classification will be made for each flipper.
Points will be awarded for each pinball machine according to the following table:
The sum of points obtained in each pinball machine will determine the qualification ranking. The Top 8 classified will enter to the next stage. If a qualified player won't be present at the beginning of the finals he won't be considered and his place will be replaced by the following player in the ranking.
? Finals:
At the end of the qualifications the best 12 scores, including any playoffs, will be qualified for the finals
The final stage will take place with a direct disposal:
or 1° 2° 3° 4° classified in the qualifications will earn a "bye" skipping the first round.
The classified from 5° to 12° place of the qualifications will start the final stage.
Every game will be played to the best of 3 games, the finals will be played to the best of 5 games, the finalist best classified in the qualifications will choose the first pinball machine where he will play, the next pinball machines will be chosen by the loser who will start first.
Each player is free to arrive at the time he prefers to participate in qualifications on Friday and Saturday but it will be his responsibility to manage the time available to complete all the games provided within the timeframe.
On the contrary, for the final stage all 16 qualified players must arrive within the expected time or they will be disqualified and other players will be included based on the classification obtained after the qualifications.
