All players are seeded into four groups. Each group plays a round-robin (everyone plays everyone once), one machine, best of three sets. Players in every group are ranked by number of wins, then by matchscore (if two players has the same amount of wins). Should two or more players be ranked equally after this, a winner-takes-all-game is played (one machine, one set.)
From each group, the four best players advance to the knockout stage, where the nr 1 ranked plays the fourth ranked, nr 2 plays the third and all matches are mixed groupwise.
Every match in the knockout stage are played on three machines, one set on each. The tournament director decides which machines to use in all of the knockout stage.
