Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: February 11, 2016
Entry Fee for players $25.00each
Tournament format:
1) Registration and warm up 5.30 - 6.30 sharp
2) Information 6.30 - 6.40
3) Comp start 6.40
4) QUALIFYING. - Six machines set to no extra balls/ball savers on incl. multiball.
- Each player plays one game on each machine and will be ranked on each machine and awarded points. eg; if there are 24 players the highest score on each machine receives 24 points down to the lowest score receiving 1 point.
- The points for each of the six machines will be totalled for ranking.
- A maximum of 12 players will qualify for the finals.
- According to previous tournies I have played in, only half the qualifiers are allowed to go through to the finals. To have 12 qualify we therefore need 24 in qualifying.
- In qualifying players will need to play in pairs or triples if odd number of players to verify each others' scores (initial their score sheet).
- To save time, as soon as players finish and verify scores on a game, Simon will enter scores before the players go onto their next game.
5) FINALS - Single elimination best of three games on different machines.
- The higher ranked qualifier for game one of each best of three has the choice of either: machine played OR going first or second.
- If numbers allow 12 finalists the top 4 ranked qualifiers will have a bye in the first round of the finals.
6) For players who want more warm up time it is suggested they attend a lock in prior to the event Friday Feb 5 from 6-10.30pm.
7) Simon is not obliged to tell players which machines will be used in the competition.
8) On the night players should have their IFPA # ready, to save time.
