Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: September 17, 2016

each player would be matched up randomly to start the tournament in a 4 player group. each group would play 4 games per round(random banks chosen). 1 classic, 1 newer stern style, 1 solid state, and another of any category. this would equal 4 points minimum, or 16 point maximum for the round with a group of 4 players. points are as follows,

1st = 4 points, 2nd = 3 points, 3rd = 2 points, 4th = 1 point
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
after finishing the 1st round, the following round(s) will be grouped based on points earned. so basically if you do well you play others that are doing well to generate a fair and competitive atmosphere.

person with honors chooses 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th game of group. each player can choose whatever game they would like as long as it matches the above criteria after person with honors chooses. only the last game can be choice of any era.
order of first to play is rotated through on each game (every round). this will be for the duration of the tournament (includes finals). player with highest point value coming into round goes first on first game, then player with second highest points from previous round would go second, so on and so forth.
for instance,

player A goes 1st on game one. (chose EM, could've picked any game) (1st to play)
player B goes 1st on game two. (chose newer stern/modern) (1st to play)
player C goes 1st on game three. (forced to choose early SS) (1st to play)
player D goes 1st on game four. (any game on floor) (1st to play)

final rounds start at 8:30p with top 16 players (or half of field).

players 1-4 receive a double bye

5-8 receive a single bye

9-16 play in 2 groups of 4, with 2 players moving on. they will incorporate with 1-4 in another 2 groups of 4, with top 2 advancing from each group into finals.

in a case where more players qualify for the finals, there will be more bye rounds for higher seeds.
