Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: December 14, 2016
The BAM Cares Initiative is proud to announce the first Flip Out for Kids charity pinball tournament. Our goal is to raise funds for Project Pinball which is a non-profit charity organization that places pinball machines in children’s hospitals as a form of therapeutic recreation for child patients and their family members. We've chosen Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children AKA Sick Kids to be the beneficiary of 100% of the proceeds.
A pinball game will be set up in the FOURTH FLOOR kitchen for $1 per play or $2 for 3 plays. Players of all skill levels are welcome!!!
Qualification for the tournament will begin at 130 Merton St. during the week of October 11th. Cutoff for qualification is Tuesday Dec 13th and the tournament finals will be held on DECEMBER 14th at 5PM
To enter, players are required to take a selfie of themselves with their best pinball score in the background and send the photo to joe.ciaravino@blueantmedia.ca
The top 8 players with the highest scores will qualify for the tournament on DECEMBER 14th and will be an OFFICIALLY world ranked player! Two groups of 4 will play one game with the top 2 of each group moving forward. From a group of 4 playing one game, only the top 2 will qualify for the final, which will be a single head-to-head game to determine the winner.
Top 4 winners will receive donated prizes such as T-shirts & pinball merch.
Happy flipping!!!
