The Emerald City Pinball League is played in Eugene, Oregon at two locations, with each playing host to league night once a month: Level Up Arcade and Blairally Vintage Arcade. League membership is $20 a season, with guests being eligible to play up to two league meetings for $5 each meeting.

It is a group play format, with groups of 4 (or 3, when necessary) playing 5 games each with point payouts of 7,5,4,1 (or 7,4,1) each game.

There are eight regular season meetings, with points accruing throughout. The lowest meeting score is dropped for each player, with 7 of 8 of a player's meetings counting toward their regular season score.

There are 2 different playoff divisions. In theory, the top 40 players at the end of the regular season will make up the 2 different divisions. However, to be eligible for the B-division playoffs, you must attend at least 5 of our regular season meetings. This is to help ensure that better players don’t take up spots in this division simply by not showing up at meetings. (Please note that the B-division playoffs as described below will only take place if there are at least 40 eligible postseason players. League officials may rule on a modified B-division structure if needed.)

Final standings are determined after postseason play has concluded.
