Three Strike Knockout
FAQ
Q: Can I select my opponent/machine?
A: No. We use Brackelope, software that randomly matches players and machines.
Q: Are the match games free?
A: Yes! Bring $10 cash for the entry free, but you will not need quarters for your tournament games.
Q: Can I pay my entry fee with a card?
A: No, please bring cash.
Q: What does Three Strike Knockout mean?
A: Each match consists of ONE game (each player gets 3 balls in one game). If you lose a game, that's one strike and you know the rest - 3 strikes and you're out!
Q: Is there a prize for winning the tournament?
A: Yes, there will be a cash prize for the top 4 players.
Q: What do you do with my entry fee?
A: All entry fees go into a "pot." Roughly half of the pot goes to machine maintenance and the remaining half is split among top 3 players.
Q: Is the tournament open to all ages?
A: Yes
Q: Is Memphis Made a bar? Can I bring my kids to watch and/or participate in the tournament?
A: Memphis Made is a brewery and taproom. If you are 21+, you can buy their delicious, homemade beer! But it is not a bar and you do not have to be 21+ to enter the space. So kids of all ages are welcome to watch and/or participate in the tournament.
Q: Will there be food?
A: Memphis Made doesn't serve their own food, BUT they usually have a food truck at the taproom, where you can find some good grubs. I will update if/when we find out which food truck will be there. ALSO, Memphis Made is right next to Aldo's Pizza and Memphis Made allows you to have food delivered from Aldo's or anywhere else in town!
