Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: March 31, 2017
6:30pm start
Qualifying:
All women will play 2 games on each available machine (likely 5 machines, 10 games total)
All games will be ranked using the 'Herb style' scoring
Top 4 will advance to the final. More players will advance if this falls under the required 10% of the field.
Ties for 4th place will be broken by a single 1 game playoff on a machine to be chosen at random.
Finals:
Finalists will play all 5 games again, this time in a 4 player group.
Points will be awarded as per the IFPA Group Match play format (7/5/3/1).
The player with the most points after the 5 games will be declared the winner.
In the event that 8 players advance to finals, 2 groups of 4 will be made, with Group 1 to consist of seeds 1,2,7,8; Group 2 seeds 3,4,5,6.
Each group will play 3 games, with the Top 2 players in each group to advance. IFPA Group Match play points awarded (7/5/3/1) each game.
The final group of 4 will play the full 5 games with IFPA Group Match play points awarded.
