Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: September 10, 2017

Main tournament: consists of World Cup Soccer style bracketing, elimination and point distribution for the first two rounds (three points for a win, one for a tie and zero for a loss, 3-1-0). It is limited to 32 players.
In the first two rounds the field will be divided into groups of four players, everyone plays everyone within a group of four (round robin). A single match will consist of two full games of pinball. The top two point earners will advance, losers are eliminated. Second round is the same (with the field cut in half), another round robin round in groups of four, top two points earners advance, losers are eliminated. (In the case that point totals are tied at the end of a round, tie breakers will consist of a single ball shoot out for high score.)

The quarter finals, semis and finals will consist of the best of three full games of pinball between two players on a single machine, losers are eliminated until winner is determined.
