Starport Year End Pinaball Extravaganza 2017

Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd, 2017
Starport Arcade, 471 Chestnut Street, Morgantown, WV 26505

Qualifying from 3:00pm-8:00pm on Friday December 1st for both Classics and Main.
Qualifying on Saturday from 10am-4:00pm for both Classics and Main.

Any games started prior to 4:00pm on Saturday will be allowed to finish.

The cost to enter the tournament will be $10 for the Main Tournament and $5 for the Classics Tournament. Entry fees will allow for unlimited entries. Machines will be on token drop for qualifying and Finals round games will be on Free Play.

Qualifying scoring will be done in "Best Game Format" in order to determine seeding for Finals.

Best Game Format: Players can play games as much as they want during the qualifying time period. Only a player's best score on each machine will be counted. A players final ranking will be determined by their best score from ALL games in the Tournament bank. Game scoring will be 100-90-85-84... format.

Finals for "Classics" will consist of a head-to-head “Best Of Three Games” and Finals for "Main" will consist of a head-to-head "Best Of Five Games". Both Finals will be carried out with higher seed picking either machine or order for first game of each round, with the loser picking in each subsequent game of the round. A machine cannot be picked more than once in a round. Machines deemed "Classics" will be available for play in the Classics Finals, while ALL working machines at the location will be available for play in the Main Tournament.

At the end of qualifying for Classics, the Top 4 players will make the Finals. At the end of qualifying for the Main Tournament, the Top 8 players will make the Finals. No waiting on machines will be allowed for the Finals, so an unoccupied machine must be chosen when the Round starts. Seeding for Classics Finals will be 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3 with the winners meeting in the next round to play for the Championship. A single game between the losers of the initial round will be held to determine 3rd Place. Seeding for Main Finals will be in a 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5 format with the 1-8 winner facing off against the 4-5 winner in Round 2 and the 2-7 winner playing the 3-6 winner. Third Round will consist of the Championship Match and the single game Consolation Match (to determine 3rd and 4th Place Finishers).

100% of entry fee monies will be paid out to Top Finishers. Total prize money determined by number of participants. Prize monies will distributed in the following order: For Main Tournament 1st Place: 60%, 2nd Place: 25%, 3rd Place: 15%, 4th Place: Gift (Valued at at least $20). For Classics Tournament: 60% for 1st Place, 25% for 2nd Place, 15% for 3rd Place, 4th Place: Gift (Valued at at least $10).
