Tournament Overview
Start Date: January 15, 2018
End Date: March 31, 2018
League consists of 7 weeks of competitive pinball play for qualifying, with a State finals where trophies and cash are given out.
Regular season format:
* There are 7 weeks of regular season play.
* Players best 5 weeks will be used to qualify them for divisions at the State Final. (Number of Divisions in based upon number of players.
Finals format:
* If needed, the top 8 players in a division may get a round 1 bye.
* The remaining players in each division are placed into bracketed groups of 4, with matchplay similar to the regular season used to determine the players who advance to the next round. (Top 2 from each group advance.) Play continues in this fashion until winners have been decided.
The season costs $30, plus coin drop at Arcadia and house fees or $5 at JR’s and J&T’s). If you choose to play at any NEPL locations outside of Maine be prepared to pay coin drop or house fees at those locations. For the State Finals, JR will be charging $10 per player.
Your $30 league registration payment is due at the 1st meetup. At this time you will also declare which state you are representing for this season of League. This declaration will lock you in to your finals location. This declaration does not preclude you from playing at locations outside of your state during the 7 week qualifying season.
NEPL in Maine happens weekly at the following locations. You can only play once a week, but you can play at any location each week. Visit www.NEPL.org to see the complete list of locations if you are interested in playing outside of Maine.
