Sundsvall Pinball open double three!

Qualification is played on saturday from 10am till 10pm, no new entry is allowed after 9:30 pm

The Sundsvall Pinball Open double three is tournament that uses an entry system. For this tournament 6 machines are used. These are setup in 2 groups of 3 machines.

One entry gives you the possibility to play 3 machines. You can choose yourself in which group, but you must complete the entry on the 3 machines in the same group.

The main goal is to qualify with a good entry in each of the 2 groups. The scores on the 3 machines each give you points and this represents an entry in this group.

By playing multiple entries and so having played all 2 groups, you have 2 entries with points that count towards the total for this tournament qualification.

So the points for your best entry from machine group 1 is added with the points for your best entry in group 2. This way you have a total of points which will rank you in the qualification.

Important to know is that there is a reward for the best player per machinegroup. So the player that has the best entry in a group of machines will no matter what continue to the final rounds.


The number of entries is unlimited. Each player can play as much attempts as he wants to improve his entries. Only the best entry per group counts towards the total ranking.

An unlimited number of entry tokens can be bought at the price of 30 SEK, note that two tokens are included in the fee for the main tournament.

You give your entry token to the scorekeeper after you have played your first game and your score is entered. You can only play one entry at once. So your entry remains active untill you have played all 3 machines within the samen group. If you are not satisfied by your scores after your first, second of third game you can always void your entry so you don't have to finish the current entry and you can start a new entry.


The final 16 players will proceed to playoff, might be subject to change due to number of participating players (max
50% of number of players are allowed to proceed)


The final rounds start on saturday at 10.30pm and are played on the same machines

The machines are the same but which machine is played in which final round is decided by the tournament director.

The final rounds consist of multiple rounds which are each time played with 3 players on one machine. Where the player with the lowest score drops out of the tournament and the other 2 players continue to the next round. This on 3 balls per game.


The first round is with 6 machines x 3 players, 12 continue.

Second rounds with 4 machines x 3 players, 8 continue.

The semifinals are played on two machines with 4 players per machine. Per machine.

The 2 players with the highest score continue to the final. Making a final of four players.

The 4 players play a game on one random chosen machine. The player with the lowest score is out of the final and the other 3 continue.

And so it will continue until one player remain. That player is the winner of Sundsvall pinball open double three 2018!!
