Cost $20 and free t-shirt plus coin drop on games
April 14, 2018
Qualifying from 10:00am - 3:00 pm
- Best Game format:
The tournament will have a bank of 14 designated machines. Each competitor may play each pinball machine as many times as desired during the qualifying period. Only a player’s single highest score on each machine will be counted. Player’s best scores on 7 different machines will be counted as a complete entry. Their 7 best games will be compared to everyone else's 7 best games and awarded points accordingly. Players will need to play a minimum of 7 out of the 14 pinball machines to be awarded a score.
The rank of the player’s result on each machine contributes the following points to the score for that entry:
1st place 100 points
2nd place 90 points
3rd place 85 points
4th down to 87th place 84- down to 1 point
After Qualifying ends at 3:00pm we will take a 30 minute break to make up the final spots where half the field will be eliminated up to 24 spots for final rounds . If more than 48 participants we will take just 24 spots . If less than 48 participants we will take half the field.
- we will then proceed to have a Group Knockout Round
Group knockout tournaments are very similar to regular knockout tournaments with the difference that people are paired against each other in groups of four. Match Play Events will automatically create three-player groups if needed. After each match the bottom two finishers will receive a strike—also in three-player groups. Three strikes and you are out.
