TOURNAMENT FORMAT DETAILS:

Qualifying:.
To successfully qualify, you will need to play 1 game on each of the 7 classic tournament pinball machines at your own pace. Scorekeepers will be onsite to help you lodge your entry.

After completing your 7 qualifying games, if you’d like to try a qualifying game again, you can “buy in” for $5 which gives you 3 more attempts at any game (or games) you choose.

Arrive anytime after 11am, however remember your last qualifying game must be started before 5pm.

Scores will be ranked as follows:
Highest Score On The Day (per machine) =100 points
Second Highest = 90 Points
Third Highest = 85 points
Forth Highest = 84 points
Then points reduce by 1 point per position - down to 87 Highest (If required)

In the event that 2 qualifiers are tied on points, a one game head to head tie breaker game will be played shortly after 5PM on a game of the tournament directors choosing.

The 8 highest scoring qualifiers proceed to finals, however 16 finalists will be chosen and an extra round of finals played if 32 + people qualify. If less than 16 players qualify, the highest ranking 50% of the field (rounded down) will be selected for finals. If more than 80 people qualify, extra finalists positions will be opened up to ensure at least 10% of the field qualify.
