Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: August 19, 2018
The VUK Veekly Summer series is an IFPA-sanctioned weekly two-strike pinball tournament played on Sunday nights at VUK in Bethesda, Maryland. The tournament will start at 7 PM sharp, and we aim to have everyone home in time for the 11 o'clock news!
The tournament will be played in matches of four player groups, in which the 3rd and 4th place scores will take a strike. In the event of an uneven split and we have three player groups, only the 3rd place score will take a strike. Two strikes and you're out, and the last person standing wins!
Buy-in is $5, with one dollar of the entry fee going to the IFPA as a fee. The remaining pot will be paid out to the top four in a 40-30-20-10 distribution.There will be an optional $5 extra side pot for those who would like to enter. All extra balls earned must be plunged.
We will play every Sunday from June 3rd to August 19th, with the exception of June 17th (Father's Day) and July 29th (Sunday after Pinburgh).
We welcome all players, not just those playing in the FSPA league, so come on out, eat some pizza and ice cream, and play some pinball! Honestly, what else could you want?
