Finals Format

Overall

Matchplay style tournament. Qualifiers: 8 rounds of group matchplay, IFPA point system (7/5/3/1 in groups of 4, 7/4/1 in groups of 3).

IFPA rankings used for 1st round seeding, adjacent pairing. Subsequent rounds will be balanced in an attempt to pair players with unfaced opponents.

Finals will be single elimination best of 5, traditional seeding with highest seed paired with lowest seed. Top 8 or 16 will advance based on the number of entrants. Highest seed will be giving machine or player order choice for the first game. Loser of that game will then be giving machine or player order choice.
