Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: September 30, 2018

A "Critical Hit" pinball tournament that supports Red Cross Disaster Relief. This is the return of our usual Sunday evening tournament, but with a couple of exciting twists! This 2-strike event, played in groups of 4, will be a Critical Hit tournament. It combines pinball with cards that you can play for certain effects. Crazy! We are also making this a series of charity events in an effort to raise funds for Red Cross Disaster Relief. Entry fee is $8. $3 per player will be donated directly to the Red Cross Disaster Relief fund each Monday after the tournament.

We are going to be a little flexible at first about the details of the Critical Hit component while we see what works best for us. But it could be something very like "Every player is dealt 3 random cards at the start of the event. A 4th card may be purchased after round 1 for an additional $3 donation to the Red Cross." Other cards may be awarded semi-randomly throughout the event. The point is to freshen up the old 2-strike format, make it interesting and more strategic, while raising some money for a good cause.
