Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: March 09, 2019
Please see website for updates.
Format (Qualifying):
Group Match-Play - 10 rounds (1 game per round)
You will be playing in a group (3-4 players) on 1 machine per round.
Play 10 machines total in competition
Format (Finals):
PAPA Finals - Group of 4 will play 3 games with 4-2-1-0 scoring. Top 2 from group will advance to finals.
*New - We'll have an A Finals making up 1-8 qualifiers and a B finals making up 9-16 qualifiers.
-In case of a tie for 8th place or 16th place (for entry into finals) a random single-game tiebreaker will be played immediately after Session 10.
-Ties for seeding will be broken by using the IFPA head-to-head record between the players that are tied. If that's still a tie we'll use WPPR rank.
-How game choice/position will be handled:
Game 1: 3,1,2,4
Game 2: 2,1,3,4
Game 3: 1,2,3,4
Top 3 seeds all get a game choice and they are ordered so that the top seed gets game choice for the final game - which is when everything is on the line (hopefully).
