Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: January 12, 2019
$10 entry fee: with $10 to play the games (unless already a member). $1 goes to the IFPA and $9 goes to the prize pot.
Warm-ups start at 6pm. Tournament starts at 7pm.
The tournament shall use "Pin Masters" type scoring. Each game will be set to 5 balls, with a maximum of 10 strokes per game.
First round will be a qualifying round where everyone plays each game in the arcade once. This is usually 14 to 16 games.
The top 50% scoring players will make the cut. The final round will be match play over 3 games to determine the winner. The games in the finals will be determined by whomever scored best in qualifying (they will have choice of game or play order).
Players of all skill levels are welcome to attend.
Prize payout:
50% 1st place
30% 2nd place
20% 3rd place
The highest placing "rookie" (e.g. those who have never won a pinball tournament) will get their $10 entry fee back.
