Tournament times: 5:30pm - 10pm.

Tournament fee: Cost is $12 to play.
 

TOURNAMENT FORMAT DETAILS:

QUALIFYING:
The qualifying format is:
 
Best Game Format.

Players can play each game once in qualifying.
Last qualifying game must be started by 9:30PM.
Finals commence ASAP after qualifying.
Qualifying Scores will be ranked as per PAPA (i.e Highest score = 100 points, Second Highest Score = 90 Points, Third Highest Score = 85 Points etc).
 
FINALS:
Final Format is 2 Rounds.
 
Round 1 - Relegation round.
Seeded 8 players.
 
2 x 4 player games - 1 game each only.
 
Players who qualified 1-4 play each other in final game 1, players who qualified 5-8 play each other in final game 2.
The player with the lowest score from final game 1 drops into the bottom 4 for the second round of finals (in 8th Place).
The player with the highest score from final game 2 climbs into the top 4 for the final round (in 4th Place).
 
Round 2 - Decider.
 
2 x 4 player games - 1 game each only.

The bottom 4 players face off against each other for outright 5th-8th position in final game 3.
The top 4 players face off against each other for outright 1st - 4th position in final game 4.
 
Seeding for the first finals round is derived from the qualifying result.
Highest qualifier in each group selects their preferred game for the final in each round.
Second highest qualifier picks the order of play in each round.
 
**First round of finals acts as qualifying for second round of finals, meaning the highest scorer from final game 1 will choose the game for final game 3.... etc.
 
Trophies are awarded for 1st - 3rd positions
Top 3 players also gain automatic entry into QLD State Championships.
 
A special prize will be awarded to the highest placed non qualifier and for 5th position.
