Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: April 13, 2019

You got Magic: The Gathering in my pinball...you got pinball in my Magic: The Gathering. Join us for Queen City Pinball's first-ever Critical Hit tournament at 11 am on Saturday April 13th. Critical Hit is a fun twist on a Match Play tournament. Each deck contains 52 cards with 20 different variations. The more powerful the card is, the fewer there are available in each deck. Players use the cards before or during games to their benefit, or their opponent's detriment.

Example cards:

Darkness - Cover your group's score display(s) for the entire game.
Forbiddance - Swap a specific player from your group with a random player from a different group.
Desistance - Opponent must stop play immediately (remove hands from flippers) when this card is played. Opponent will receive a compensation ball after the game has concluded.
Fortune - After ball 1, switch players (and thereby scores) with any other player in your group. Play the remainder of the game as normal with revised players.
Bootstrap Paradox - Re-do! You step backwards in time through the use of your time map in an attempt to better your score. Re-play your entire game.
