REGISTRATION AND FEES:
*The event registration process will be hosted by Eventbrite. The ONLY way to register for this event is by securing your tickets through the Eventbrite website listed below.

*Event will be limited to 42 players** (**6 spots will be reserved for the TD's, so total number of players for the event will be 48 if it sells out)
*You will only be allowed to add 2 tickets maximum to your cart
*Cost of the event will be $80 per person and the full amount must be paid within 48 hours to reserve your spot via PayPal using the Friends & Family option or else you will lose your spot in line. ALL payments should be sent to firststateflippers@gmail.com. If your spot is not paid within 48 hours, your tickets will be released to the wait list if we have one, otherwise you will have to re-register to secure your spot(s) or join the wait list
*Full Refunds will be available until August 31st. After 8/31 we will still issue full refunds as long as we can fill your spot, otherwise 50% Refund after that until September 30th. 25% Refund until October 12th. No refunds after that.
EVENT DETAILS:
*Date of event is 10/19/19 to 10/19/20
*Event will be held at 147 Paysan Lane, Magnolia, DE 19962
*Doors will open at 10am and the tournament will begin sharply at 11am
*Format will be 4-player group match play with no finals. The first round will be a complete random pairing of groups, after that we will use Swiss pairing for all remaining rounds.
*Scoring will be IFPA format (7/5/3/1)
*We will play as many rounds as we can in the 24 hour block
*We will break for 1 hour around 8pm for dinner. Pizza will be delivered throughout the event
*In addition to the food & beverage provided, we highly recommend that participants bring a cooler with food and beverages for the duration of the event. We also have a microwave and plenty of freezer/fridge space if you want to bring along any microwavable food.
*We have a Keurig, please bring your own pods if you want coffee during the event.
*We have SOME chairs, SOME tables, and SOME couches. We encourage people to bring folding type chairs for additional seating as well as pillows/blankets should you need to find a place to catch a quick nap while waiting for the next round to start.
PRIZES AND PAYOUTS BASED ON 48 PLAYERS***(subject to change):
*There are trophies for the top 4 finishers and cash prizes will be given to the top 4 competitors of the tournament.
*Finishing the 24 hour marathon will yield cash prizes to the winner of each 4-player group in the final round! The higher the ranking of your final group, the higher the prize purse for the final round.
*Beating the Beast on Iron Maiden will win you $150
*Finally, every player who plays for all 24 hours and never sits out a round will be awarded a “First State Flippers Legacy of the Beast Battle” completion medallion, just like finishing a marathon.
