Tournament Overview

Start Date: July 30, 2019
End Date: September 24, 2019

The league utlilizes the match play best game modified decay (95%) scoring software system. You may show up starting at 5:15pm each week. You must arrive before 6:45pm to be allowed to start getting your weekly entrees in.

Each league features five to seven games in play. You have two plays on each game (so ten to fourteen plays each week) with your top game on each machine counting for match play software entry. Weekly totals carry forward week to week and add up to determine placement. The bottom two weeks for each player are dropped (so if you miss two weeks of league you are not penalized).

The top six after ten weeks qualify for finals. The top four of the top six select the four games that the finals will feature. The top six then get two plays on each of the four games with the bottom two dropping out. The top four then play it out knock out style to determine places 4, 3, 2 and the league champion.

This league is very popular. Over 20 people show up each week. There are no practice games allowed and when your weekly entrees are done you should depart. Though there are a few different league locations, most weeks are at a law firm. Dress appropriately for a law firm. No alcohol allowed. Do not come before 5pm.

You must register for this league. All people who have played in an earlier iteration of this league are pre-registered. Contact the tourney director or the Louisiana IFPA rep Mike Van Etten at 337-962-4078 if you need to register. Entry fee is $5.
