Tournament Date: January 18, 2020

2019-2020 IFPA LA State Pinball Championship

IFPA Louisiana State Championship Pinball Tournament to be held on Sat Jan 18, 2020 in Lake Charles, LA.
Start time to be around 1 pm. Arrival time is from 11 am to 12:45 pm if playing in the LA State Championship. Practice time from 11:15 am to 12:45 pm. Review tournament format, rules, and player pairings from 12:45 to 1 pm.

The top 16 ranked players from IFPA-sanctioned events and leagues held in Louisiana from throughout 2019 will compete for the chance to be crowned the 2019 IFPA LA State Pinball Champion, as well as the opportunity to go to Denver, CO and represent LA in the 2019-2020 IFPA National Championship on Thur Mar 5th, 2020.
Tournament machines will be a mixture of e-m's, classic solid state types, dmd type, and modern pinball machines, with year of manufacture being from approx. 1970's up through 2019.

Head-to-Head Single Elimination Format. Each 2-player match is Best-of-7 games on the winners side of the bracket, except best of 3 games for deciding 3rd/4th places in the consolation match. All other finishing positions will also be played out in best-of-three game matches to determine 5th through 16th places.
Entry fee is likely to be $0 per player, but there may be a small fee to cover hosting expenses. Cash prizes for all 16 places is based on IFPA predetermined payout percentages tied to money collected during tournaments held in LA during year 2019.
