Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: November 24, 2019
This is the Stern Army Elvira LE Launch Party - NYC at Sunshine, with prize support from Stern and a plaque for the winner from the IFPA. This is going to be a 3 hour timed flip frenzy starting at 3 PM. Last match started before 6 PM. Top 4 will play a 3 game playoff with the last game to be on Elvira to determine the champion. I just got to play this format in Copenhagen at the Pinball Profile event and I can say with confidence that with the new improved match play software this format is fast, efficient and fun in terms of a full value tournament. Remember that Stern Army events (Sunshine League, Thursday Night Strikes, and these official launches) go towards the Stern Army Circuit standings towards a possible playfield prize for the top 10.
