Our first Hybrid Format pinball tournament! We our combining different formats for the first time ever at a FSF event. We personally think this will be a fun format and hopefully you will too! This is NOT part of the Delaware Tour Championship series.

The essentials first:

Date - 2/29/2020

Time - 11am SHARP(Start time of 11am, practice starts at 9am). We should be wrapped up by 6:30pm!!!

Where - Joe's House located at 1112 E Nutmeg Pl, Middletown, DE 19709-9195

Cost - $35

Entries - Capped at 40 entries.

Registration - Registration will go live on 1/19, time to be determined, but it will probably be around 7pm. Once it goes live, all registration info will be posted to Facebook and emailed out to everyone. We will be using Eventbrite to secure "tickets" which will reserve your spot for 24 hours at which point you will have 24 hours to submit your deposit of $15 to firststateflippers@gmail.com using Paypal Friends & Family. If deposit is not received within 24 hours, your name will go to the end of the wait list if one exists.


The format details:

Round 1 - We will run a 60 minute flip frenzy. We will then break for 15 minutes as we prepare for round 2

Round 2 - Two hours of 4-player match play. We will use the standings from the Flip Frenzy to "seed" everyone for the initial round of Match Play. After the initial round we will revert to our normal setting of Swiss pairing. We should get in 3-4 rounds of Match play in 2 hours.

Finals - Top 10 will advance to the "A" Finals which will use the Stern Pro Circuit Ladder Finals format. Places 11th through 24th will advance to the "B" finals, which will be a 2-strike group knockout finals. And Places 25th through 40th will also be a 2-strike group knockout finals.
