WPPR points are back, and the monthly matchplay league at Morristown Game Vault rolls on. Join us on Tuesdays throughout August for three weeks of qualifying followed by the Finals.

Qualifying (September 7 , 14 , 21 )

5 rounds of matchplay in 3 or 4 player groups. 7, 5, 3 and 1 point per round. After 5 rounds, the top 4 players win cash.

Players receive series points after each qualifier; 100, 90 and 85 for the top 3 and then descending 1 point per position for the rest.

$5 fee payable to the TD per week to register, of which $4 will go to prize pool and $1 to IFPA.

Finals (September 28)

Players are seeded based on the total of their two best qualifying series points. The top 4, 8 or 12 players (based on turnout) will qualify for the finals.

The finals will be a PAPA-style elimination matchplay; 4-player groups, 3 games per round, 4, 2, 1 and 0 points per game. Top two players advance, bottom two are eliminated. Champion gets a trophy, with medals for 2nd and 3rd place. In addition, players eliminated after the semi-final hold a 3-game playoff to decide 5th-8th for WPPR points. Top 6 win cash!

$10 fee payable to the TD to register (if you’ve qualified).

How to Play

Come by Morristown Game Vault at 6pm on Tuesdays. Venue entry is $15, stay and play until closing or the end of the tournament. Inform the front desk you are playing in the league. Tournaments begin at 7pm or when all registered players are present.

All qualifying events will use matchplay.events. IFPA standard competition rules apply. TD has final say in all tournament rulings and decisions.
