Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: September 11, 2021
Four strike pinball tournament. IFPA sanctioned! Raffle for new in box (NIB) Hot Wheels pinball machine from American Pinball, provided by Flipside Arcade distributor (assuming at least 71 entries are fulfilled; prorated otherwise. see below). $102 per entry. 1st place in tournament: $400, 2nd place: $200, 3rd place $100. Doors open at 11am for practice. Tournament starts at noon. Coin drop required. Free snack provided between 2:30pm and 3pm. Food and drink (including alcohol) available on-site for purchase. No outside food or drink allowed. 80 players maximum. 20 machines mostly newer, some 90’s Williams/Bally machines (see below for full list). Registration is now open!! Tournament Rules
1. Cost to enter 4 Strike pinball tournament is $102. Tournament starts at noon on September 11th, 2021. Doors open at 11am for practice. MatchPlay used to run tournament.
2. No additional players will be added to the field once the tournament begins.
3. First place in tournament wins $400, 2nd place wins $200, 3rd place wins $100.
4. Grand prize raffle drawing will be conducted at the conclusion of the tournament. Grand prize is a new in box Hot Wheels Pinball machine valued at $6295 (if 71+ entrants).
5. Each tournament entrant receives one raffle ticket. Player should write name and phone # on raffle ticket and place into drawing hat.
6. Please arrive at tournament in a vehicle that you can transport a new in box pinball machine.
7. Winner is responsible for all taxes and any shipping charges.
8. If grand prize winner finishes in top 3 of tournament, they will not also win cash prize. Cash prize will go to next finisher (e.g. 4th place finisher in tournament). Example: Raffle winner
finished 2nd in tournament. Raffle winner does not win receive $200 cash plus pinball machine. $200 cash will go to 3rd place finisher. $100 cash will go to 4th place finisher.
9. All tournament players will have a chance to earn additional raffle tickets. Each player that wins their match will receive an additional raffle ticket. Each match, players will be competing against 1, 2 or 3 other players on a single pinball machine. Player who scores the highest score will get another raffle ticket. Player is responsible for writing name and phone number, and putting ticket into the drawing hat.
10. Coin drop is required on pinball machines.
11. Need not be present to win, but must write name and phone number on raffle ticket, and must pick up machine by Sunday September 12th.
12. Due to unforseen circumstances (e.g., malfunction), machine list may change at any time.
13. Number of tournament entries goal is 80. If less than 80 entries, grand prize pinball machine may have pro-rated cost associated such as the following examples:
71 to 80 entries Hot Wheels pinball machine is given to raffle winner.
61 to 70 entries Hot Wheels pinball machine will cost raffle winner $1000, or person can opt for $4700 cash.
51 to 60 entries Hot Wheels pinball machine will cost $2000, or person can opt for $3700 cash.
41 to 50 entries Hot Wheels pinball machine will cost $3000, or person can opt for $2700 cash.
31 to 40 entries Hot Wheels pinball machine will cost $4000, or person can opt for $1700 cash.
21 to 30 entries Hot Wheels pinball machine will cost $5000, or person can opt for $700 cash or Willy Wonka playfield.
11 to 20 entries Hot Wheels pinball machine will cost $6000, or person can opt for BareNaked Ladies Silverball CD.
10 or less entries Hot Wheels pinball machine will cost $6295.
