Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: January 25, 2022

Location: Delaware Pinball Collective - 1100 First State Blvd, SECOND FLOOR, Wilmington DE 19804

Date:1/25/2022 - Doors open at 5:30pm, tournament starts at 7:00pm

Registration: NOTE - You must be a member of the Delaware Pinball Collective to play in this event. Eventbrite and Paypal will handle all ticket sales and entry fees

Cost: $15 per person ($5 to the Collective for expenses, $1 for IFPA, $30 is removed for the trophy and another $35 removed for the bounties that we hand out each round. Remaining prize pool returned 100%)

NOTE - No food or beverage provided for this event. You are allowed to bring your own food. We will have snacks available for purchase. All beverages must be purchased from the Collective. We carry non-alcoholic, alcoholic, and water.

Prizes: Top 3 win cash with 1st place receiving a trophy. Percentage breakdown after all expenses will be 50% for 1st, 30% for 2nd, and 20% for 3rd

Format and Rules:

Flip Frenzy format. You will be playing head to head (2-player) matches and we will have a queue of players waiting in line to play a match. As soon as ANY match ends, this will trigger the first person in the queue to go play a match. Rinse and repeat for 2.5 hours.

When a match ends and after reporting a win using the Matchplay Events software, Player 1 will now become player 2 for the next match against the first player standing in queue. The player coming out of the queue will always be Player 1. Player 2 from the previous match then moves to the back queue, regardless if you win or lose, Player 2 ALWAYS goes to the end of the queue. At the end of each match the winner gets (+1) point and the loser will get (-1) point.

Format Specific Rules:

1. Players may not concede the game prior to the start of ball 3.

2. In the event that a registered player is late at the start of a match, that player will be moved to the end of the queue and will also receive a loss for that match.

NOTE - There will be NO finals for this event. Once the 2.5 hours is up, we will do payouts based on the top 3 player's net wins. "Net Wins" is determined by the number of wins minus the number of losses. Tiebreakers will be decided by "most wins", followed by the "fewest losses". If still tied, we will conduct a one game playoff on Eight Ball.
