Tournament Overview

Main Tournament
• Best Game/Herb style qualifying on at least 6 machines. Cost is $1 per game. Proceeds going to charity. Qualifying Thursday 2 pm-10 pm, Friday 1 pm-10 pm, Saturday 9 am-12:00 pm (special volunteer hour from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm). Top 24 in “A” finals. Next 8 IFPA ranked 500 or below in “B” finals. Finals will be PAPA style finals beginning at approximately 1:10 pm on Saturday.
Classics Tournament
• Best Game/Herb style qualifying on at least three machines. Cost is $1 per game. Proceeds going to charity. Qualifying Thursday 2 pm-10 pm, Friday 1 pm-8:15 pm. Top 16 in finals. Finals will be a PAPA style finals. First round of finals will be Friday night at 8:30 pm. After the first round, playoffs will resume at 9:30 am on Saturday morning.
Women’s Tournament
•Best Game/Herb style qualifying on at least three machines. Cost is $1 per game. Proceeds going to charity. Qualifying Thursday 2 pm-10 pm, Friday 1 pm-10 pm, and Saturday 9 am-10:50 am. Top 8 in finals. Finals will be a PAPA style finals. Finals start at 11 am. If any women’s finalists are in the classics tournament still at 11 am, we will push back the women's final start time to the earliest possible start time without conflict. If the women’s finals are not concluded at 1:15 pm, we will push back any affected matches in the Main A or B finals. Participating in women’s finals WILL NOT block you from playing any other finals. Tournament director is Brianna Reynolds.
Thursday at the Zoo Tournament
• FREE Best score qualifying on at least one machine. Thursday 2 pm-7 pm. Top 8 (or 50%--whichever is less) in finals starting at 7:05 pm. Finals will be PAPA style matches
Friday at the Zoo Tournament
• FREE tournament! Same as Thursday except qualifying is 1 pm-7 pm.
Volunteer Changes
•This year we will have a special hour of play for people who have volunteered in the show AT LEAST 3 hours. This is an exclusive hour for only volunteers. The hour will be on Saturday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
•For every hour worked, receive $10 in tournament credit.
Charity
•National Alliance on Mental Health in memory of Lyman Sheats Jr.
Operation Fee
•The only money other than the $1 IFPA fee per player coming out of the total will be an operation fee. This tournament takes a great deal of time, effort and money to put on every year. Included in the operation fee is the cost of the trophies, prizes and other miscellaneous costs associated with running the tournament. 40% of the amount brought in will be used for these purposes.
