****NO WALK INS ALLOWED. Open to anyone. CAPPED AT 80 PLAYERS*******

What: The first ever Delaware Pinball Open!! 5 events in 3 days! WPPR'S for each event are estimated to be between 55-75 WPPRS (if we have 80 players). Also, the Main Tournament (Saturday Qualifying with Sunday Finals) will be IFPA certified (assuming minimum of 64 rated players) and will get a 20% BOOST towards the TGP!

When: 5/13/22 to 5/15/22. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of each tournament to check in.NOTE - If you have not checked in by the start of the tournament and you haven’t communicated to Chad Hastings or Joe Fox that you will be late, you will be removed from tournament

Where: 1100 First State Blvd, Second Floor, Wilmington DE 19804.

We are located 25 minutes from Philly Airport
We are located 75 minutes from Baltimore Airport
We are located 90 minutes from NJ Airport
We have a local Amtrak station 4 miles away
We are 4 minutes from I-95

Time: Doors open at 8am each day for practice and ends at 8:45am for announcements. Each morning tournament will start at 9am except the Sunday 3 Strike Tournament which will start at 9:15AM

Cost: $200 ($75 will go to the Delaware Pinball Collective for tournament expenses. $125 to cover all of the tournament fees with 100% payout). Must be paid in full within 48 hours using Paypal's Friends & Family. Send all payments to firststateflippers@gmail.com

+Bottled water provided FREE for the entire event by the Delaware Pinball Collective
+IFPA fees for all events paid for from the Delaware Pinball Collective expenses
+Trophy/Plaque costs will come out of the Delaware Pinball Collective expenses
+Over 45+ machines all on free play for the entire weekend
+Sodas will cost $1 per can
+You are allowed to bring any food to the event. Also, please bring your own cooler!
+Alcohol policy will be announced 30 days prior to the event as we are currently waiting on our liquor license to be approved. If approved before the event, all alcohol will have to be purchased from the Delaware Pinball Collective. If we do not get approval before the event, you will be allowed to bring your own alcohol.
+We will have a giant tent setup outside with plenty of extra tables and chairs along with 2 port-a-potties as well as the 2 inside bathroom stalls.

Players: Capped at 80 players (open to anyone)

Registration: All registration is handled through Eventbrite. Tickets go on sale 3/13 at 9:00pm eastern. Eventbrite simply reserves you a “free ticket”. Once you secure your “free ticket” you then have 48 hours to send in your entry fee using the Friends & Family method of Paypal to firststateflippers@gmail.com

When registering on Eventbrite you are allowed to buy up to 3 tickets at once. Registration closes on 5/12 at 5pm eastern. NOTE - When signing up for the waitlist, you can only sign up one person at a time.

Also, You CANNOT sign up for individual tournaments for this event. Your single entry fee automatically signs you up for all 5 events

If you pre-register and can’t make it please email firststateflippers@gmail.com as soon as possible so we can let the next person on the waitlist know so they can make plans to attend.

Thursday 6PM - 10PM Practice Session
Friday 8AM - Doors Open and practice starts. Practice ends at 8:45am to go over announcements
Friday 9AM - 5PM “30 points” Target Match Play Tournament with 3/2/1/0 scoring – $20 fee per player(already included in your entry fee)
Friday 12:30ish Lunch Break
Friday 5-6PM - Dinner Break in-between tournaments
Friday 6PM - Midnight - 8 Strike Fair Strikes Classics Tournament – $20 fee per player(already included in your entry fee)
Saturday 8AM - Doors Open Practice Starts. Practice ends at 8:45am to go over announcements
Saturday 9AM - 4PM - Main Event 12 Round Match Play qualifying (finals on Sunday) – $65 fee per player(already included in your entry fee)
Saturday 12:00ish Lunch Break
Saturday 4-5PM - Dinner Break In-between Tournaments
Saturday 5PM - Midnight - 10 Strike Progressive Knockout Tournament – $20 fee per player(already included in your entry fee)
Sunday 8AM – Doors Open Practice Starts. Practice ends at 8:45am to go over announcements
Sunday 9AM – Main Event Finals start (carry over from Saturday Main Event)
Sunday 9:15AM - 3 Strike Knockout Tournament – $0 (free tournament with WPPR’s and Trophies on the line)
***No Lunch Break on Sunday***
Sunday has 2 separate events running concurrently. The Main finals are only for the top 24 players that qualified for it based on Saturday’s 12 round Match play qualifying.

The 3 strike group knockout tournament on Sunday is open to anyone who wants to play in it INCLUDING the top 24 qualifiers who are playing in the “Main finals”. If you play in both tournaments at the same time you will run the risk of causing an ‘intentional delay’ of more than 60 seconds, as defined by IFPA rules, which will result in a warning for the first offense and a score of zero for second and subsequent offenses.

Cash Prizes for the top 16 players in the Main Event
Cash prizes for the top 8 players in the Friday Morning Target Match Play Tournament.
Cash prizes for the top 8 players in the Friday Night Fair Strikes Classic Tournament.
Cash prizes for the top 8 players in the Saturday Night 10 Strike Progressive Tournament.
No Cash Prizes for the Sunday 3 strike knockout tournament. WPPR points and trophies!
You can win up to 4 different cash prizes based on how well you play in each tournament!

Event 2: 8 Strikes Classics Fair Strike Knockout

Friday May 13th

6PM Tournament Starts or after the Friday MorningTarget Match Play Tournament ends

$20 Tournament Fee - 100% gets paid out as prize money for the top 8

This Knockout Tournament is an 8 Strike Classics Tournament played in groups of 4 (3 when necessary).

We will only use classic solid state and Electro-Mechanical games.

Random Seeding to start, then Swiss Style. Games drawn randomly.

Groups of 4 (or 3) will play against each other on a single machine. 1st Place receives NO Strike, 2nd and 3rd Place receive 1
Strike, 4th Place receives 2 Strikes

3 player matches (as needed) - 1st Place receives No Strike, 2nd Place receives 1 Strike, 3rd Place receives 2 Strikes

Once a player has 8 strikes they are out of this tournament

The tournament continues until there is one player remaining. Only ties for trophies/prizes will be broken with another game played.

Top 4 will receive Trophies/Plaques, Top 8 will receive Cash Prizes

Should there be a tie for first place, another game shall be played as a tiebreaker. Automatic Tiebreakers (if available in Match Play Software) will be turned on. No other ties will be broken unless it’s for a trophy or prize.
