Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: May 07, 2022
This is the second of 3 tournaments in 1 day! Maximum 48 players.
- Classic Match Play (11am-3pm)
- Flip Frenzy (this one. 3-7pm)…followed by pizza dinner
- Fair Strikes (starts at 7pm)
Play in all 3 tourneys for $75 (best deal!). Otherwise, price is $60 for 2 tourneys. Or $40 for 1 tourney.
Flip Frenzy
- 3 hours of Flip Frenzy head to head match play on all eras of machines. Matches, machines and order picked by matchplay.events software.
- Top 8 with the best win-loss differential make playoffs. Fewest loses is the tie-breaker. Coin flip to determine insignificant ties within top 8 (same record). If there’s a tie for 8th with players having the exact same record, the players tied for 8th will play a one game tie-breaker on a random EM or solid state. Order will be random for tie breaker(s).
- Playoffs are head to head bracket with best of 3 matches. 1 vs 8. 2 vs 7. 3 vs. 6. 4 vs. 5. High seed picks game or order. The 3 games must be different eras of games (DMD/LCD, SS, EM).
- Top 8 get paid.
- This tourney begins at approximately 3pm (or half-hour after Classics Match Play, but no earlier than 2:30pm)
Registration begins Sun., March 20 at noon (ET):
- e-transfer $ along with your name to pinballprofile@gmail.com
- first 48 players will get in, and receive confirmation. The Facebook page will list attendees and waitlist.
Refund policy: full refund available before April 3/22. $50 refund available from April 4 until last date of April 23.
