Tournament Overview


Start Date: September 30, 2022

Description

6 machines will be selected and identified for use.

Each player plays 2 games on each machine. All scores are recorded.

During the event, players assign themselves to a queue using the Matchplay events software prior to starting a game.

Scoring

Points will be allocated on each machine according to a player's ranked score on that machine i.e. 100 points for the highest score, 99 points for the second highest score, 98 points for the third highest score, etc.

Finals

The top 8 players (based on their total points) will advance to finals.

Ties

Ties for 8th place will result in a single game playoff on one of the 8 machines chosen by a random draw.

Note

If you are registered to play in other events, you may not play games during the other events. However, you may play games once you have been eliminated from another event.

No qualifying games may commence after 7pm on Sunday 2 October.


HIGH SCORE COMPETITION - FINALS
Date: Sunday 2 October, 2022

Start time: 7:00pm - 10:00pm

Prizes: Cash for top 8 players. Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.



Description

The top 8 players from the qualifying round will play 4 X 4-player games.

The top 2 players will advance to the next round with the final 4 players progressing to the last round.

Pairing

The Matchplay events software will allocate matchups, machines and play order.

Scoring

IFPA scoring i.e. 7-5-3-1.

Winner

The winner will be the player with the most points in the final round.

Ties

Ties for 1st place will be decided by a single game playoff on a machine decided by the Tournament Director.
