Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: January 21, 2023
Registration and practice starts at 9:00am and the tourney will begin at 9:30am and runs until we are done.
To make it more interesting, the entry fee will be $6 with $5 of it going into the prize money pot with the remaining $1 being the IFPA player fee.
Anyone can play and initial seeding will be based off of 2022 IFPA state rankings. If you are not ranked, your name will be added at the bottom based on registration time.
Also based on attendance, the top 8 and the winner of the losers will probably be paid out. The more players we have, the deeper the payouts will be able to go!
Players will compete in head to head single elimination rounds with best 3 out of 5 games. Higher seed picks first game and then loser of each game picks game as match proceeds. A player may not choose the same game twice in a round. Extra Balls, if earned, must be plunged, or if played, it counts as your next ball in play, but a player can only play three balls per game, so choose wisely.
EM's and Solid State machines can be picked again in subsequent rounds.
Once the field is whittled down to 4 players, matches will be best 4 of 7.
If you lose in the first round, do not leave, there will be a loser bracket to determine the winner of the losers!
Every participant gets a free drink ticket and there will be some custom printed 3D trophies and that just depends on how many can be completed before the tourney!
Hope to see you here! Stay Safe, Stay Sane, and Keep on Flippin’!
