Tournament Date: April 16, 2023
Captain's Pin-Tastic Voyage
On this day, Sunday April 16th, we set sail for The Captains Pin-Tastic Voyage. Where we will travel and battle through multiple generations of pinball machines to collect all the points for biggest trophy we ever seen.
• Date - April 16, 2023
• Doors open - 2pm
• Registration open - 2:30pm
• Tournament start - 3pm
• Tournament Fee - $10

**** FORMAT ****
• Group Matchplay
• 3 - 4 player groups
• Pinburg scoring (3,2,1,0 / 3,1.5,0)
• 4rounds – 4 games per round
• The computer will select which bank of games each group will play
• Each bank will have 4 games - one from each generation.
• 1) EM
• 1) Solid State
• 1) 90’s
• 1) 2k – new
• First round is random and tiered Swiss for the remaining rounds (being only 3 rounds at this point, it’ll be as Swiss as can be)
• The computer will list your groups player order - DO NOT PLAY OUT OF TURN or you will receive a ZERO for that game (Strict IFPA RULES go into affect for the mishap)
• At the end of our 4 round if we have a tie for top 8 players, everyone will playout tie breakers on a full game of Old Chicago (house rules are all tie breakers are played on this machine)
• Top 8 players will proceed to finals (I would take more but then we’ll be here way too late)
**** FINALS ****
• Top 8 proceed to finals.
• Elimination Group Matchplay
• Top seed from each group will select their bank or position. They may pass this on and select position instead.
• Once a player selects a bank, they may NOT select it again.
• 2 players from each group will proceed to the next round.
• 1st place winner will receive the BIG trophy.
• Trophies & payouts to top 4 players.
