Please arrive no later than 8:45 AM to check in.
Match Play Tournament starts at 9:00 AM.
Lunch Break around 12:30 PM.
Match Play Tournament Conclusion around 4-5:00 PM.
Short Dinner Break.
Classics 4-Strike Knockout starts after dinner break.
Registration:
Registration is now open on the District 82 website. Although registration is not required it sure is helpful!!
$80 fee includes:
• Both tournaments.
• All machines on Free Play; you can play any game you want in-between rounds, during practice & breaks.
• Bottled water and soda. (Carry-ins of food and beverages is permitted.)
• Trophies for top 4 in each tournament.
• Cash prizes for top 4 in each tournament.
• Swag/door prizes for all.
• Other fun trophies.
Ladies Flip District 82: 13 Round Match Play
The format will consist of 13 rounds of Match Play in groups of 4 players (3 if necessary). One game will be played per round per group. Scoring will be 7-5-3-1 or 7-4-1. First round will be random seeding. Subsequent rounds will use Tiered Swiss Seeding.
The player with the most points after all 13 rounds have been completed will be the winner. Tiebreakers will be on. If on the very random chance that there would be any ties with tiebreakers on in the top 4, one single tiebreaker game would be played.
All games will be drawn randomly but will alternate between DMD and non-DMD games, so it will balance out that you are not playing the same machine twice.
Top 4 Trophies/Top 4 Cash prizes
1st: $500
2nd: $250
3rd: $150
4th $100
The prize money is awarded when the tournament is completed. The tournament director’s decisions on rulings are final. You agree to these terms by signing up. You cannot come back after the tournaments are finalized and dispute your finishing position or prize payout. Any discrepancies need to be brought up immediately to the tournament director, at and during, the tournaments themselves.
Ladies Flip District 82: Classics 4-Strike Knockout
The format will be a 4-Strike Knockout played in groups of 4 (3 when necessary) on Classics/EM games only.
Random seeding to start, then swiss style. Games drawn randomly. Groups of 4 will play against each other on a single machine.
The 2 players with the lowest scores in a group will receive a strike (3rd/4th place in the match). 3 player matches (as needed) lowest score (3rd place) will receive a strike. Once a player has 4 strikes, they are out of this tournament. The tournament continues until there is one player remaining. Tiebreakers will be turned on. Only ties for trophies/cash will be broken with another game played.

Friday, May 19, 2023, we will have an additional IFPA approved (Open Division) 3-strike knockout starting at 6:00 PM as part of Flippin’ Friday. This tournament is only for points, no cash prices and has no tournament fee. Just pay regular admission for a Flippin’ Friday of $25 and play all 100+ pinball machines. Open from 5-10:00 PM on Fridays. You can register for that Friday tournament but walk-ins are welcome.
