Shangri-La Dispensaries SuperStore is proud to host " Flippin' At The Bird – Sept Target Matchplay" on September 16, 2023 @ 5pm.
1401 Creekwood Pkwy, Columbia, MO 65202
-Format- Target Matchplay (28 Points)
Players are grouped into groups of 4 (potentially 3 if there’s an odd number of players) and are awarded 3/2/1/0 (3/1.5/0 in 3 player groups) based on placement of 1st/2nd/3rd/4th (1st/2nd/3rd). A single game is played each round. At the end of each round there’s a check to see if players have reached the total number of points (28). If there is a tie for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd positions, a 1-game playoff will be played as necessary.
Swiss (like points with like points) for drawing. Random grouping for first round.
No Finals.
The entry fee for the tournament is $11 and all of the money minus the $1 IFPA fee will be paid out to the players. IFPA Sanctioned and for WPPR Points.
Matchplay software will be used to assign games and groups and to keep track of scores and standings. Participants are welcome to come early to practice and warm-up prior to 5pm start time. ALL Skill Levels are welcome!
We will cap this event at 48 players, and will announce if this number can expand based on available games closer to event time. All updated information and announcements will be placed on Columbia Pinball League, Shangri-La Dispensaries', & other Missouri Pinball FB pages. We do anticipate this tourney to have a sponsor for added cash prizes.
