What: 4 events in 3 days with the Main Tournament (Saturday Qualifying with Sunday Finals) being IFPA certified for 250% WPPRS! Plus a 5th, bonus event on Thursday night (12/7) that has its own entry fee and registration (see Eventbrite for details)

When: 12/8/23 to 12/10/23. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of each tournament to check in. NOTE - If you have not checked in by the start of the tournament and you haven’t communicated to Chad Hastings that you will be late, you will be removed from tournament.

Where: The lavish Delaware Pinball Collective - 1100 First State Blvd, Second Floor, Wilmington, DE 19804.

We are located 25 minutes from Philly Airport

Time: Doors open at 8am each day for practice and ends at 8:45am for announcements. Each morning the tournament will start at 9am except the Sunday 3 Strike Tournament which will start around 9:30AM

Cost: MEMBERS $230 ($75 will go to the Delaware Pinball Collective for tournament expenses. $155 to cover all of the tournament entry fees with 100% payouts).
NON-MEMBERS $260 ($105 will go to the Delaware Pinball Collective for tournament expenses. $155 to cover all of the tournament entry fees with 100% payouts)

+Bottled water provided for FREE for the entire event by the Delaware Pinball Collective
+IFPA fees for all events paid for from the Delaware Pinball Collective expenses

+Sodas/Coffee will cost $1 each

+You are allowed to bring food to the event. Also, please bring your own cooler!
+We will have a tent setup outside with extra tables and chairs along with 2 port-a-potties as well as the 2 inside bathroom stalls.

Tournament Fees are separated out and 100% of the tournament fees go back to the players as cash prizes.

Players: Capped at 80 players (open to anyone)

Registration: All registration is handled through Eventbrite. Tickets go on sale October 8th at 9:00pm eastern. Eventbrite simply reserves you a “free ticket”. Once you secure your “free ticket” you then have 48 hours to send in your entry fee using the Friends & Family method of Paypal to firststateflippers@gmail.com

When registering on Eventbrite you are allowed to buy up to 3 tickets at once. Registration closes on 12/6 at 5pm eastern. NOTE - When signing up for the waitlist, you can only sign up one person at a time.

Also, You CANNOT sign up for individual tournaments for this event. Your single entry fee automatically signs you up for all 4 events. Remember, the Thursday event is a separate event with a separate entry fee and separate registration.

We will not be offering individual tournament registrations for these tournaments.

Sunday has 2 separate events running concurrently. The Main finals are only for the top 24 players that qualified for it based on Saturday’s 20 round Match play qualifying.

The 3 strike group knockout tournament on Sunday is open to anyone who wants to play in it INCLUDING the top 24 qualifiers who are playing in the “Main finals”. If you play in both tournaments at the same time you will run the risk of causing an ‘intentional delay’ of more than 60 seconds, as defined by IFPA rules, which will result in a warning for the first offense and a score of zero for second and subsequent offenses.

The prize money awarded at the tournament is final. The tournament director’s decisions on rulings are final. You agree to these terms by signing up. You can’t come back after the tournaments are finalized and dispute your finishing position or prize payout. Any discrepancies need to be brought up immediately to the main tournament director, at and during, the tournaments themselves.


Event 2: 8 Strikes Classics Only Fair Strikes Knockout

Friday December 8th, 6pm to Midnight

6PM Tournament Starts or after the Friday Morning Target Match Play Tournament ends

$30 Tournament Fee - 100% gets paid out as prize money for the top 8

This Knockout Tournament is an 8 Strike, Classics Only Tournament played in groups of 4 (3 when necessary).

We will only use classic, solid state and Electro-Mechanical games.

Random Seeding to start, then Swiss Style. Games drawn randomly.

Groups of 4 (or 3) will play against each other on a single machine. 1st Place receives NO Strike, 2nd and 3rd Place receive 1 Strike, 4th Place receives 2 Strikes

3 player matches (as needed) - 1st Place receives No Strike, 2nd Place receives 1 Strike, 3rd Place receives 2 Strikes

Once a player has 8 strikes they are out of this tournament

The tournament continues until there is one player remaining. Only ties for trophies/prizes will be broken with another game played.

Top 4 will receive Trophies/Plaques/Medals, Top 8 will receive Cash Prizes

Should there be a tie for first place, another game shall be played as a tiebreaker. Only ties for trophies or prize money will be broken with another game played but final results will show those players as tied when reported to IFPA.

REFUND POLICY FOR THE 2023 DELAWARE PINBALL OPEN:

You cannot ‘sell’ your tournament registration to another player. You need to contact Chad Hastings if you want to cancel your registration for this event. DO NOT CANCEL THROUGH EVENTBRITE. If you cancel your registration by the following dates we will send you back a refund based on the conditions below. Anyone from the waitlist who gets in will still have to abide by the below refund dates so please make sure you want to attend before you send your money.
