Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: September 30, 2023
Hello! Padavan’s NY Pizza and Pinball will be hosting the inaugural FALLopian Flip-Off women’s tournament on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. Doors open to tournament players at 11:00 a.m. Cost to enter the tournament is $10, plus coin drop.
Format will be seven rounds of Match Play qualifying, which means that every player is guaranteed to play at least seven games/rounds. One game per group per round will be played. In groups of four, scoring will be seven points for first, five points for second, three points for third, and one point for fourth. In groups of three, scoring will be seven points for first, four points for second, and one point for third. After seven rounds are completed, total points for all seven rounds will be tallied for each player. We hope to take the top half of the qualifiers (or whatever number of qualifiers that is divisible by four and makes sense) to playoffs. (EX: If there are sixteen players that enter the tournament, we hope to take the top eight qualifiers.) Playoff format will be determined, based on the number of players/amount of time it takes to complete seven qualifying rounds.
Entry fees for the tournament will go directly back to the players in the form of cash prizes for overall first, second, and third place finishers. We are working to secure additional attendance prizes/giveaways, as well. ????
Padavan’s staff will be there to take care of your eating and drinking needs. Padavan’s and this IFPA-sanctioned event are open to minors who are accompanied by an adult. ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED.
