Stern Army Flippin' Friday Tournament

Registration will open on Sunday October 1st at 1:05PM. You are only registering for the tournament and you don't pay for it until you get here.

Tournament Format:
NEW PLAYERS WELCOME!
No tournament experience necessary. You just play pinball. We will show you how it works.
This tournament is free with paid admission on Friday nights

Qualify Format: (Everyone plays 8 games)
Group Match Play
4 Rounds of 2 games per round with the same 4 people in your group
One Modern and One Classic Game per round
7/5/3/1 scoring per game
Random seeding to start, swiss pairings thereafter
Top 16 Players with the most points after 8 games make playoffs
16th place will be determined by a 1 ball playoff for everyone tied at that position
If you do not make the finals your tournament is over but you can still play the 100+ pinball machines on free play

Finals Format
There is no advantage to qualifying 1st or 16th in this type of finals format
Finals will be a 3 strike group knockout (4 player group 3rd & 4th get a strike, 3 player group only 3rd gets a strike)
Random Pairings to Start - Swiss pairings thereafter
This finals will be done on all classic games
3PM Doors Open
6PM Tournament Starts
Trophy's for 1st-4th place
Stern Translite for 1st Place
IFPA points for everyone
